About

Eco Circular AI aims to promote sustainable, ethical and entrepreneurial business practices among continuing education students in Europe. It will use a gamified learning process that employs artificial intelligence (AI) as the main free tool to equip VET-C students in Finance and Management with the competencies needed to apply data-driven knowledge in real-world scenarios and acquire the awareness and skills needed to apply environmental sustainability and social responsibility in their workplace.
About
The project seeks to incorporate AI tools into VET programs, aims to generate a positive impact by improving competencies to meet the needs of VET-C and VET-I students, expanding knowledge of the circular economy and developing digital skills, fostering technological adaptation and employment sustainability.
The Eco Circular AI project is co-funded by the European Union in the field framework of the Erasmus+ program. Its duration is from 04/01/2024 to 30/09/2025. EcoCircularAI aims to create a free AI tool to promote sustainable, ethical and entrepreneurial business practices among lifelong learning students in Europe.
It will train them not only in efficient resource management and socio-environmental risk assessment, but also in the development and use of artificial intelligence tools for the initiation and leadership of responsible entrepreneurship.

Teacher’s Pack

Teacher’s guide to ensure that users are able to fully understand the mechanics and rules of the game.

Methodology

The methodology used in this project focuses on leveraging an AI gamification tool for learning and competency development. Through this approach, C-VET and I-VET students will not only learn efficient resource management and socio-environmental risk assessment but also gain proficiency in using AI tools to foster responsible entrepreneurship initiation and leadership.
The EcoCircular AI project incorporates resources designed to strengthen innovative teaching and learning techniques, specifically tailored to the game’s content. Additionally, the learning process and mastery of desired competencies will adhere to a rigorous quality process, utilizing metrics to evaluate defined objectives and competencies. This ensures that knowledge acquisition is not only effective but also aligned with educational standards.

Partners

The project will be coordinated by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and implemented jointly by 2 partners from European countries:

This consortium originates from IEF, an organization specialized in financial education programs at the local level and with previous experience in overseeing European projects focused on green economy initiatives that have a significant impact in Europe, while prioritizing the involvement of the target audience.

The UOC, due to its position as project leader and its status as an online university, is ideally suited to oversee this initiative, providing added value through quality assessment. Finally, INNOVADE brings its expertise in technology, especially in the development of tools, with a specific focus on AI.

Eco Circular AI is supported by 4 associated partners who will evaluate the work packages and results, participate in the national steering committee of the project and participate in the multiplier and dissemination events.
